Boland Travel offers a Corporate Travel Management Service.

With 27 years experience, we are well established and the largest Travel Agency in Paarl. Through our affiliation with the XL Travel Group (currently 113 agencies) we are in a position to identify opportunities and negotiate good deals with suppliers on our clients' behalf. We are also small enough to deliver a very personalized service and to ensure that our entire team is fully aware of all aspects of your account.

Tips To Make Business Travel run more smoothly

Getting Ready:

Checked Baggage – since airlines started charging for checked baggage following this strategy might help. Take two more equal-sized bags. Ons should be the maximum size to fit under the seat and the other should be flexible enough to fit into the overhead bin. This way you will never have to gate check a bag.

The right clothes – try to mix-and-match. This way you'll only need one jacket to math all pants/shirts.

Internet access – buying international data plans for your mobile device may be cheaper than paying the daily local rates at hotels.

The Security line – choose the best security line by checking the efficiency of the personnel manning the line and the mix of travelers ahead of you.

Families with small children, unconventional luggage which will most likely be inspected, will take much longer. Picking the right line can save you hours if you travel often.

Getting a routine - organize all reading material in a separate bag before you get on the plane. This way it can be taken from the carry-on and you can take your seat, carry-on safely in the overhead-bin. A lot of time is wasted when getting to your seat and then rummaging through your bag to find all the things you want for your flight.

In flight:

Sleeping and eating – eat before you get on the plan to maximise sleeping time. Also brush your teeth and wear comfortable clothes –before the flight and get to sleep as soon as you hit the seat. A window seat is much better as you avoid being disturbed by fellow passengers during the flight.

Doing it the right way – try to steer away from alcohol and heavy foods on trips, especially airplanes.
