Our van Zyl family of 3 returned yesterday from an unforgettable holiday at Preskil Beach Resort in Mauritius from 20 to 27 October. We want to thank Boland Travel (specifically you in person), the management and staff of Preskil Beach Resort and Thompsons Travel for the holiday of a lifetime we had at Preskil. Our experiences in Mauritius from the time we approached the Thompsons desk at the Mauritius airport, the stay at the hotel until we were boarding the plane in Mauritius flying back to SA, were simply awesome.  This was our fifth visit to Mauritius and I believe that Preskil Beach Resort is one of the best hotels we ever stayed in on Mauritius. Will we go back to Preskil? – Yes definitely! I will also put something on Trip advisor about our experiences at the hotel - which were only positive.

Just one of the examples of the service that makes Mauritius such a great place, is the following:  About 30 minutes before we were supposed to board our return flight from Mauritius, my wife could not find her wedding ring and we realized that it probably got stuck away in the corner of the room safe at Preskil when we cleared everything out of the safe.  We consulted with the reception at the lounge at the airport who immediately phoned Preskil.  The hotel quickly checked the safe in our room, found the ring and called us back at the airport lounge.  The hotel organised a taxi to race to the airport with the ring, handed it over to one of the lounge staff who brought it to us.  There were continuous communication between the lounge and the aircraft and the story ended happily with my wife boarding the plane with her wedding ring back on her finger.
